The inaugural Soccerjury rankings of the Top 10 strikers in world football has been published today.

These rankings can be influenced by real fans using their knowledge of the beautiful game to score the skills of players. So who is the greatest striker in the world today?

Messi fans will celebrate that the Argentinian maestro is ranked the best forward in the world today, beating perennial rival Cristiano Ronaldo by less than 0.1%. Their closest challenger is Neymar who has been in scintillating form this season scoring eleven La Liga goals in just ten appearances in Messi's absence.

But the Brazilian superstar is the highest valued played in the world at an eye-watering £132 million. This estimated transfer value is based on his current rating, standing in the game, and relative youth.

The full Top 10 ranking list is available below:

Former Anfield hero Luis Suarez is ranked fourth and is the third Barcelona player to appear in this list - highlighting the calibre of the Catalan club's attacking department.

These rankings are dominated by Barca forwards (Barcelona FC)

There are just two current Premier League players that make the top 10 list. Sergio Aguero is ranked the best forward in the Premiership narrowly ousting United's Wayne Rooney to seventh spot.

Bayern hot-shot Robert Lewandowsi is ranked ninth, and despite his off-the-field issues Karim Bezema rounds off the Top 10 rankings.

Is there a player that has been overlooked? If so, within a few minutes fans can submit the player directly using the 'Scout Player' module, allowing him to be considered for future rankings.

I was going to suggest Sanchez but I see he is considered a right winger on the site, which is fair I suppose.

Strong list to be fair. Only player who might challenge is Pierre Aubameyang - 22 goals in 20 games this season.
